Bring the buffet to the table!

Sharing plates to start, sharing feast style main course with meats in the middle of the table and help yourself accompaniments. A lovely fun, informal and sociable choice for a wedding breakfast menu.

 To Start (choose 1)

 Classic Mediterranean Combo

Selection of cured deli meats, marinated mixed olives, roasted vegetables,
ripped mozzarella marinated in chilli oil, mini bruschettas of smashed pea, mint & parmesan,
crusty bread, good oil, vinegar.

 Something a bit Cornish

Black pepper carpaccio of beef fillet. Cornish yarg, Davidstow & Cornish Brie.
Wild mushroom & Cornish Blue arancini. Scrumpy, apple, tarragon chutney.
Little smoked mackerel crostini. Warm crusty bread, Cornish butter.

 All about fish

Squid salad, smoked paprika, lemon oil. Salmon ceviche crostini.
King prawn skewer, bloody mary dip. Herby smoked fish blinis.
Marinated olives and tomatoes. Crusty bread, oil and vinegar.

 All things veggie

Asparagus, feta, rocket frittata. Assorted bruschettas (White bean, tarragon, lemon. Mozzarella, chilli, grilled peach. Pea, horseradish, crème fraiche). Marinated olives. Bocconcini sticks, sundried tomato, basil leaf.
Torn crusty bread, good oil, balsamic

For main Course (choose 2)

Slow roasted lamb, preserved lemons, rosemary, anchovy and garlic.

Stuffed lamb leg… pomegranate, almond,mint stuffing.

Lamb, slow cooked beans, parsley and lemon zest.

Harissa lamb, tahini yoghurt sauce.

Rosemary lamb, red wine redcurrant jus.

Braised beef, sticky garlic, shallot and clove confit.

The best pot roasted beef. Juniper and wild mushrooms.

Slow roasted beef, beetroot pomegranate jam, coriander gremolata.

Roast beef, rich port reduction.

Roast pork, sweet roast figs, caramelised garlic.

Pulled pork, smoked paprika, bourbon, maple.

Slow roasted shoulder of pork, pistachio and spiced pear pesto.

Classic roast pork, the best crackling, sage cider sauce.

Grilled mackerel fillets, harissa and rose.

Mackerel, heirloom tomatoes, wild garlic basil pesto oil, basil leaves.

Smoked cod, chorizo and olives, tomatoes, chillis, ricotta.

Salmon fillets, sumac and sesame seed crumb, preserved lemon yoghurt.

Pollack, roasted leeks, toasted pine nuts, Cornish blue drizzle.


Baked aubergine halves, toasted almond and date stuffing, buttermilk tahini.

Filled butternut squash, puy lentil, chilli, sour cherry, pumpkin seeds. Cooling citrus yoghurt drizzle.

Savoy cabbage parcels, beautiful spiced vegetable rice filling, yellow pepper coulis.

Sides – Big sharing bowls (choose 4)

Butternut squash, sage and potato gratin.

3 potato roast…maris pipers, red skins, sweet pots roasted with fresh chilli, date. syrup, ras el hanout, fresh lime and coriander.

Amazing garlicky dauphinoise.

New potatoes, mint, parsley, dill and lemon gremolata, the best olive oil.

Skin-on crushed potatoes, Cornish butter.

Orange roasted carrots, basil and ricotta.

Carrot, sweet potato, nigella seed mash.

Butternut squash ,rosemary, chickpeas, cumin seeds.

Sticky red cabbage, beetroot, pomegranate.

Orange scented beetroot, wholegrain mustard, watercress leaves.

Roasted Brussels sprouts, shallots, thyme.

Baked red onions,  bacon and parmesan stuffing.

Wilted greens, chilli, garlic, balsamic.

Fine beans, toasted almond butter.

Broccoli, sea salt, cracked black pepper.

Courgette ribbons, basil and mint.

Sauteed leeks, peas, smoked bacon. Lemon thyme.

Roast parsnip and cauliflower cheese, Cornish cheddar sauce.

Warm barley, feta, olives, caramelised red onion dressing.

Butter bean, chilli, tomato salad. Fresh herb oil.

Beautiful fresh mixed tomatoes and pomegranate jewels.

Potato salad, lime and black pepper crème fraiche.

Big green leafy, classic vinaigrette.

Crunchy raw roots slaw, raisins, sesame seeds.

Grilled peach, mozzarella, chilli.

Blanched beans, rocket, beetroot, blue cheese.

To Finish (choose 1 – 2) can be served as individual or sharing

Smashed meringue, whipped vanilla pod cream, rosewater scented berries.

Blackberry, almond cheesecake.

Lemon curd and ginger mousse pots, candied lime, ginger biscuit topping.

Salted caramel chocolate torte, clotted cream.

Very happy with these! Veg packed fudge brownies! You cannot tell that there is beetroot, sweet potato and courgette inside 😳Thanks to @gatherandfeast for the fantastic recipe, they’re so so delicious and honestly the salted veg crisp garnish works really well!! I changed the ganache recipe only because I didn’t have the right ingredients 🙄 I added cocoa butter and rose water, less coconut oil and chocolate and a bit of cocoa powder. Yum yum! From wedding food to kids food 😊 I tried something new for Ruben’s dinner and it went down a treat. He was very excited to be eating breakfast at dinner time 😂 I made rice crispy and pumpkin seed fish fingers served on spiced fruity cous cous with a yoghurt and lemon dip and some raw veg sticks. So easy to make! Just mix chopped pumpkin seeds with rice crispies, I used cod loin here cut into fingers, coat in flour then egg and finally the rice crispy mix. Shallow fry fir a few minutes on both sides then finish in the oven.
